IBETH ZAMORA RETURNS IN STYLE
It was a fantastic return for WBC flyweight champion Ibeth Zamora last night – as she defeated Edith Flores in comfortable fashion.
Zamora (31-6, 12 KOs) was competing for the first time in nearly two years, as she defeated Flores in a non-title battle in Ciudad Nezahualcoyotl, Mexico.
She dominated the majority of the action throughout the eight rounds, leading to her earning the unanimous decision win, with the judges scoring it 79-73, 79-73 and 78-74.
Zamora will now look to build on the momentum of that fight by securing some big fights in 2021, as she aims to unify the flyweight division.
